Carryt to launch $6M Series A Equity Round for further expansion of operations in
Mexico and Brazil

Carryt is launching a Series A equity round of $6 million USD to finance their growth strategy across Brazil, Mexico, and continue strengthening its leading position in Colombia.

Daniel Cuervo - CEO of Carryt - is ready to meet with international family offices and venture capital funds to prove the important milestones achieved by Carryt in the last year. The firm has set important targets for the end of 2022 and plans to expand its operations to Brazil while consolidating its position in Colombia and Mexico.

 

Carryt combines technology, drivers and strategically located facilities to provide an innovative last-mile delivery service, Its platform is an all-in-one solution that allows its clients to keep track of the delivery throughout the whole process maximising the number of deliveries completed by each driver in the shortest possible routes. In this way, Carryt’s customers can cut operational costs by 35% and significantly increase customer satisfaction.

 

The firm, launched in 2020, has produced $3.6 million in revenues this year and currently has 72 clients among big retailers, e-commerce platforms and local business, such as, Natura, Koaj - Permoda, Quala, Alqueria, Frubanaand among others. 

 

By leveraging its fleet of more than 200 recurrent drivers, and its plan to place 236 smart lockers and 24 warehouses around its locations by the end of 2022, Carryt improves efficiency and delivery time. Carryt completed 200.000 deliveries/month in 2021 and expects this number to grow significantly during 2022.

More importantly, sustainability is at the core of Carryt’s strategy, which aims to generate a positive social and environmental impact on the areas where it operates with strong commitments aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals No. 8 and 13. 

 

In this regard, Carryt’s independent drivers have special access to health, financial and educational programs that can significantly improve their quality of life. Moreover, the firm has achieved carbon neutrality in 2021 and it is planning to expand its fleet of EVs.
